THERMAL IMAGING PULSAR AXION 2 LRF XG35

Improved image processing algorithms

Axion 2 XQ thermal imagers use a new image optimization approach depending on the objectives and observation conditions
and provide high-quality rendering of both target objects and background.
Three levels of signal amplification combined with a connected smoothing filter and fine brightness and contrast settings give the user many
opportunities to detect the target at a long distance under different weather and temperature conditions and to determine the properties of the object.

High quality reinforced magnesium alloy housing
Axion is designed for continuous, often harsh use. A magnesium alloy housing is light and strong at the same time.
The housing reliably protects the internal components of a thermal imaging device from shock, drops, moisture, heat or cold.
At the same time, a metal housing effectively removes heat from the electronics, minimizes image noise, and increases the consistency of the
device's operation during long-term observation.

Long battery life. Up to 11 hours on a single charge
A high-capacity APS5 rechargeable battery provides up to 11 hours of continuous thermal imager operation on a single charge.
The battery is removed from the battery compartment and replaced with a new one in seconds.
The battery is charged in a special charger or inside the device from a computer, home electrical system or power bank via USB-C.
The same sources are used to externally power a thermal imager.

Improved Wi-Fi connectivity with 2.4 / 5 GHz waveband support
In the Axion 2 XQ thermal imagers, the standard smartphone connection frequency range via a 2.4 GHz WiFi channel is supplemented with an active 5 GHz range.
The 5 GHz connection offers better bandwidth, faster data transfer rate, noise reduction and improved connection stability, resulting in
more productive and easier smartphone thermal imager operation.

Fast Aperture Lens
The Germanium F35/1.0 lens features high infrared transmission in the LWIR range.
Due to the high-precision manufacturing of the optical elements of the lens, the image created by the sensor of the Axion 2 XQ thermal imager
is distinguished by its sharpness and details.

Long Distance Laser Rangefinder
Understanding target distance is an essential factor in making the right decisions.
A built-in laser distance meter with a range of up to 1 kilometer allows you to measure distances in single measurements
but also has a continuous scan function with an accuracy of ± 1 meter for a quick and error-free assessment of the situation.

European-made high-sensitivity Lynred sensor
The Axion 2 XQ35 is equipped with a European-made Lynred sensor with a resolution of 384×288 pixels (17 microns pixel size),
which qualitatively captures a useful signal under difficult observation conditions such as rain, fog and high atmospheric humidity
at the point of observation.

Built-in photo and video recorder. Free cloud space 16 GB
Axion 2 XQ has a built-in video recorder. The Axion 2 XQ's internal memory can store several hours of video
and tens of thousands of photos. One press of a button is enough to take a photo of an interesting scene or start recording a video.
The material is copied to a computer hard drive via a USB-C port.
Axion 2 XQ owner gets 16GB of free disk space to store photos and videos taken with the device
on Pulsar cloud storage. Simply install the Stream Vision 2 mobile app, log in and connect the device to a smartphone via WiFi.

1750m detection range
A powerful F35/1.0 objective lens combined with a high-sensitivity 640×480 thermal imaging sensor
provides excellent detection capabilities. A typical 1.8 meter high object can be detected up to 1750 meters away in total darkness.

Variable magnification from 2x to 8x
Digital zoom, up to 4x, provides improved focus and better overall object recognition at significant distances.
The zoom changes either incrementally in 2x steps or continuously for a truly optimal, customized field of view for specific situations.

Field of view over 10 degrees
Axion 2 thermal imagers are suitable for viewing large areas, observing in motion or moving objects –
– linear field of view is 21.9m at 100m or 12.5° in angular values .
The “Picture in Picture” function activates an additional window at the top of the screen, in which the central area of the observed scene
is displayed magnified by 2 or 4 or x8 times. This makes it possible to combine the information content of a wide field of view with detailed observation
of the selected object.

A choice of 8 color palettes
The choice of 8 color palettes allows the user to observe their field of view more effectively, allowing them to optimize the unit for
specific tasks as well as react to changing observation conditions.
White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot are better for detecting objects, Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase the chances of recognition
and identification. Red monochrome, sepia and violet are most suitable for night observation.

Remote smartphone operation and firmware update via the Stream Vision 2 app
Built-in WiFi connects the Axion 2 XQ to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile app.
This opens up a wide range of options such as wireless device software updates, transmission real-time image from the device
to the smartphone screen, post on social media photo and video content taken by the device
or transfer to messenger, control and manipulate the functions of the device and access the latest news from Pulsar.
Additionally, registered users get 16GB of cloud storage for photos and videos recorded with the device.

Pocket-sized dimensions and light weight
Axion 2 XQ has a space-saving design and a pocketable size weighing 350 grams.
The device is easy to grip and operate for both right- and left-handed users due to the symmetrical design
and the row-by-line arrangement of buttons on the top panel.

High-contrast AMOLED display
A high-contrast VGA-resolution AMOLED display has improved color rendering, power saving and fast response,
providing sharp and smooth images that can be seen even in frosty conditions.

Quick start
Axion 2 XQ has a short activation time: the device is fully functional within 5 seconds after pressing the ON button.
Quick start-up helps save battery power: when hunting, Axion 2 XQ does not need to be always ready,
just turn it on when needed.

IPX7 Fully Waterproof
IPX7 Waterproof to protect against heavy rain, snow or other precipitation.
The unit is designed to function flawlessly even after being submerged in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
